Viva Las Vegas

4.17-20.2015

We left for Vegas right after school on Friday.  

We got down there just in time to meet with Cam and some friends for dinner.  

We didn't even head up to the room first.... just straight to dinner.

We went over to Caesar's Palace for the Cheese Factory and the Nike store.  I love the Nike store there.  It's huge and has so much cute stuff.  

The girls were loving the fish as we waited to be seated.
(And Reese is in "her own style" phase.  She was wearing fleece (size 18 month) leggings, and a summer dress with bloomers underneath, all of which had no rhyme or reason with matching).  I love it.

Watching some show thing about greek gods arguing over who would take over the kingdom and then the king gets eaten by a dragon.  Super random.

Back to the room, finally!  So when we opened the door, Cam had decorated the whole room!  There was crepe paper, confetti,  and balloons galore.  It was so cute.  A huge mess, but cute.  I was really impressed with him, and Sage was beside herself.  It was as great as a surprise party.  He is the BEST dad.  And he had all the work people wish her happy birthday every where we went.  So cute.

The next morning Cam had to go to work.  We slept in, hung out, the girls did perler beads, we ate, and then met up with Cam.

He was able to sneak away so we could go to the aquarium.  It was cool.  It's short, but cool.  Lots of cool fish and sharks.

Taking on Vegas.  Such a different trip when you have your kids.  It's fun and I love it, there is just so much you try to keep your kids from seeing.  It's very interesting.  That night we helped Cam clean up and take down the convention.  We then went to a late night dinner.  We went to a really yummy restaurant.  I can't remember the name, but we ate lots of good food.

It was another late night and we were ready for sleep.

The next morning we all slept in.  We then had room service delivered to the girls room.  They loved it.

Then hit the pool.  We spent the remaining of the day there.  So much swimming.  The weather was amazing.  We had a cabana, so we were able to swim in the "secluded pool" which is far less crowded. The girls were the only kids in there.  It was great.

 When we got hot and needed a break or some food, it was nice to go sit in the little tent and just hang out.  They had all sorts of snacks and drinks for us.  It was nice, because we were able to spend the entire day out there.  I think we finally went in around 6:00.

 We came in, showered and went to dinner at McDonalds.  The girls choice.  We called it an early night and went and hung out in the hotel room.  We were exhausted.  Vegas does that to ya :)
We got up Monday and drove home.
Such a great family get away.  I love family time. There is definitely nothing else I would rather be doing.

We got home later that afternoon only to go and get Sage's birthday present.  She has been begging us for a year to get bunnies.  We kept finding excuses to avoid it.  This year all she wanted were bunnies.  So we went and got 2 bunnies, a hutch, straw, and food.  So far these bunnies are very loved.

We have 1 white bunny (Sella) and 1 black bunny (Maggie).
