Disneyland!!

We have been saving and planning a Disneyland trip for a while now! We were all so excited when it was finally time to go! Sage has been a few times, but It was Reese's first time! 

I'm not sure who was more excited, me or the girls! 

The night before we have the girls a little "Disney travel package".  They got some new disney pj's and princess backpacks full of travel things (crayons, books, snacks, activities, etc)! I wasn't sure if they would actually go to sleep or not!

The next morning, we all met at Brooke's.  We had 3 minivans headed down to California. We felt like a Mormon mafia!!

Yep! We'd only been on the road about 10 min!!

Vegas pit stop for lunch and In-n-Out burger! The kids loved trying to kick the pigeons! They were laughing so hard!

Both girls finally fell asleep.  They were such great little travelers!

Finally... We arrived to Mickey's House. We stayed in a house about a mile from the park. It was completely decked out in Disney theme! A perfect place to stay. There was a princess room for all the girls and a cars room for all the boys. 

My parents stayed in the pirate room, the other rooms were Mickey and Minnie themed. Every inch of that house was Disney, even down to the toaster! It was so cute!

I loved how everything was decorated for Christmas! It was perfect!!

The first day was awesome! The girls loved it! The weather was good, and we hardly had to wait in any lines.

Sage was so brave. We were not going to make her go on any ride that she didn't want too, but she wanted to do everything. She did Tower of Terror twice. She loved it!

The girls were exhausted! They were asleep before we ever even got to the tram to go back to the cars. 

The second day we spent in Disneyland. 

This was the crew! I loved being there with all the family! It was a blast!

We weren't so lucky with the weather this day! It was pretty rainy! It didn't stop us... well, for too long anyways!

We went on Pirates, the Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain. After that (and a million churros for Cam and the girls), the rain was a little worse and all the younger kids were pretty wet! So we decided to go back to the house for lunch and change into some dry clothes!

Reese had started coming down with a cough.. A really bad cough, which came on very quickly!! (She left with a cold. We brought her nebulizer just in case. It's a good thing we did. We were going to need it)!

So we went to the house, changed into some dry clothes, ate some lunch, and gave Reese a breathing treatment!  At this point, she seemed fine.

We decided it would be best if she take a little nap. Cam stayed with Reese and I took Sage back to the park with the rest of the gang. Cam would meet us at the park later!

We went back and saw lots of Princesses!

We rode "It's a small world".  Having it done to Christmas music was amazing. So cute!

We rode a couple of other rides..

At that time Cam was in his way back. We met up with him after the parade. Everyone went to dinner and we decided to do a couple of other rides with Reese. She still wasn't feeling really great, still struggling with her breathing, and complaining her tummy hurt. She continued to get worse and worse. We decided it would be best to take her back home.

So we went home, gave Reese another breathing treatment. We were getting a little concerned about giving her so many treatments.  And they really didn't seem to be helping. She continued to get worse and worse. When everyone else got back from the park, we decided we better take her to a hospital. We have her a blessing and we were off. 

We took her to the closest ER.... She threw up while we were there and her oxygen levels were super low.

They got us right back... They started her on another treatment, took some X-rays and monitored her. 

After each treatment her breathing would go right back to a struggle. They gave her two... They said they would do one more and if her breathing did not stay stable, we would have to be admitted. We so did not want to have to spend the night there!

Luckily after the third, it seemed to be a little better. They told us we could go. We were able to give her 3 treatments in a row if she needed them and they started her on a steroid!

 So after about 6 hours, we went home. We had a rough night, but the next morning, she finally seemed to be feeling better!

The next afternoon, we went to the beach. Reese seemed so much better.. Thank goodness!

We went to Huntington Beach. The weather was so nice. It was a perfect day! We played in the water, made sand castles and collected lots of sea shells!

Hmmm... You would never know she spent the night in the ER! Little stinker, but so glad she was feeling better!

Sage. She's the best. I felt so bad her Disneyland day was cut short by a sick sister. She was so much more concerned about Reese then anything else. She's such a sweetheart!

We went home that night, had a Poolside BBQ while the kids swam forever!  We reallly liked having our own pool. It was great. 

The next morning we cleaned, packed up and headed home. The drive home always seems to take FOREVER!! We finally made it! It was nice to be home. Although the laundry took days and days to catch up on! 

All in all... Minus the sicky, our vacation was wonderful. I feel so blessed to have such awesome little girls and Cam. 

We make a great team! 

I love family. I was hesitant to do a big family vacation with all of us. But, I would do it again in a instant!! So lucky to be blessed with great people in my life!
