Ten years ago today, time stood still.
Ten years seems so long ago, yet seems like yesterday.
I am sitting here watching documentaries from that day.
It leaves me with so many feelings........
Heart breaking, heart wrenching, angry, sad, proud, lost, etc.
Today still leaves me with a somber feeling, just like it did 10 years ago.
I still can't believe it happened.
I tried explaining to Sage why there were so many flags flying today.
She responded with, "we don't like mean people, huh mom."
I will never forget.
I am proud to be an American.

it is so hard to explain to kids. i had a tough time with that too.
but i did love seeing all the flags out.
